Newborns are so precious and are one of the reasons I’m an NDG Family Photographer. It is just always such a privilege to be invited into someone’s home to capture their recent arrival.
I don’t pose babies and I don’t insist that they are asleep for the photo session which I feel makes things a bit more relaxed. There’s really no pressure on baby (or the parents) to do anything but be who they are.
Snuggle, comfort, feed and just hang out with your baby – because that’s what I want to capture. These precious moments that will disappear in a few years time.
I know that for me, it’s hard to believe my children were ever so small – and that was just a few years ago. I’m so happy I have a few photos of them when they were just so teeny tiny.
