I recently fell in love with some boudoir photography I saw. It was nothing like I’d really seen before – it was classy, sexy, sweet and beautiful. I knew I immediately wanted to try it out myself and loved the results. I definitely love the idea of being a Montreal boudoir photographer.
The result is much more cinematic and film-like then my regular family and branding photography and I think it suits this style of photography much better.
When Michelle initially mentioned that she was looking for volunteers to help build her boudoir portfolio, I jumped at the opportunity to work with her again. However, as the day approached, I’ll be honest that I started to rethink my decision. I was worried that I’d feel awkward given that I’d be dressed in next to nothing, and I was worried about the kind of posing that I’d have to do.
However, in the end, the entire experience was awesome. Michelle made me feel super comfortable – to the point that at times I forgot that I was dressed in so little! She was just so natural about the whole thing, we chatted and laughed quite a bit, and the time flew by. It was also such a relief that I didn’t have to do any kind uncomfortable poses. Michelle directed me every step of the way, and the shots were nothing but classy. When I viewed the gallery a few days following our session, I don’t think I’ve ever felt more beautiful and empowered. I highly recommend the experience!
The images are classic and sweet but absolutely beautiful.
I love all the little details and suggestions. A piece of lace, a hand, falling hair… it all adds to the entire story.
