Westmount Newborn Photographer

I am a proud Westmount Newborn Photographer and have been a resident here for 8 years. I love the community, meeting new people, creating connections and most importantly photographing their families. Photographing newborns is always such a pleasure - it is such a beautiful time and capturing those fleeting moments is always so exciting for me.

How I make your newborn session run smoothly and succesfully

Sessions can take place in-home or at the studio. Unfortunately I don't have a car most weekends and with the size and amount of equipment I carry for in-home shoots it makes taxis and ubers impractical. For those reasons in-home shoots take place on weekdays only. If you'd like a weekend shoot for your newborn it must be in my St-Henri Studio. The studio has a huge, empty and free parking lot on the weekends (amazing - I know!)

Outfits and swaddles are provided. Even the most well-meaning parent gets frazzled with a newborn and that outfit you thought would be perfect may be too big or dirty. Or lost. And did you know that actually finding newborn sized outfits is really hard? I have to be on the look out at all times to even find clothes that small. Most clothes are sold size 0-3 months and are huge on a newborn. Well fitting clothing is important so that it doesn't ride up on your little one.

Wardrobe advice is provided. Amanda Eaman, who is also a Westmount resident, will provide you 1:1 wardrobe styling advice to help select and co-ordinate your families clothing. This takes out a lot of stress from the whole process.

Album creating services are available. Most families want to create an album of their newborn session and it also makes a great gift. You can create your own album right in your gallery. If you prefer to have your album created for you, Mindy from The Picture Project can do help you with that. I'll send her all your purchased digitals.
