This information on creative photoshoot opportunities is from January 2026 and may change in the future.
I am always keeping a database of families, couples and pregnant mothers who are interested in doing creative shoots.
Why do I do creative shoots?
-try a new location
-try a new editing or shooting style/technique
-try lighting that is new to me or use it in a different way
-make mistakes without the pressure of a paying client
-experiment without the pressure of a paying client
-create content for Instagram/social media/etc.
-take video during a shoot

What is required from participating families?
-OK with social media usage including Pinterest, Website, Instagram, Facebook, Newsletter
-You will not be able to review and veto images in advance of publication.
-Priority will be given to families who have not already participated.
-Open to art direction. For example I may ask you to wear certain clothing colours (bright, muted, etc.). Posing may feel a little untraditional but I will never ask you to do something you are uncomfortable with.
-I am not looking for influencers or people who will post and bring me an audience. You do not have to post or share your images (although it would be nice if you did!)
Who is this NOT for?
-You will almost certainly not be getting a ton of traditional look and smile at the camera photos. If you feel the best photo is everyone posed perfectly and looking at the camera these may not be for you. If you know you will keep asking your kids to smile and look at the camera, these are not for you.
-If you have ideas you want to bring to the table. Those are best for paid shoots.
-I am ONLY looking for families in Central Montreal (Westmount/St-Henri/Verdun/NDG etc.) or Mont-Tremblant
-For Montreal these will ONLY be on weekdays. For Mont-Tremblant it is weekends or spring break.

What is the cost for you?
There is no cost. I will cover any room rentals, props, etc. You will receive the base number of digitals in the package. For example, at the time of writing a 30 minute session had 6 digital images, a mini session 5 and a 1 hour session 10. Any additional images are at your own cost. You definitely do not have to buy anything and I don't count on it.
What are next steps if I'm interested?
Please contact me and let me know:
-Who you are and who would be participating.
For example
-A family of 4 with 2 children ages 2 & 4 open for in-home, studio or outdoor shoots. We live in NDG.
-Just me! I'm 20 months pregnant and open to studio shoots.
-We are expecting in April and open to an in-home or studio newborn shoot. We live in Verdun. It would be my partner and myself and our baby.
-We are a couple! We would like to do a creative couple photoshoot wherever you want. We live in St-Henri.
When will I be contacted?
I am only looking for specific shoots. So say, for example, if you are looking for a free newborn photoshoot, unless I want to try something new or need images for my social media I may not contact you. If you really want a newborn photoshoot and I have said that I probably don't have room please book a paid one with myself or someone else to make sure you get your photos and if I do contact you look at it as a bonus.
I think you should also think of it as an experience more than getting the exact photos you want. When I work with families I often get location requests, image requests, Pinterest boards, etc. This is not like that. You really have to be open to my direction. Of course if you don't like my ideas or concept you can say no but do not send me image boards or location requests. I am happy to do those for paid clients.
If you have any questions please get in touch!
