Natural Newborn Photography in NDG

I love being a Natural Newborn Photography in NDG because capturing your tiny baby is one of the most wonderful things I do. Every tiny detail and fleeing moment will be beautifully preserved in images you can keep and pass on to your baby.

Want authentic and heartwarming portraits? Not interested in posed baby photography? I may be the right photographer for you.

Natural Newborn Photography in NDG

Natural newborn photography is all about embracing the simplicity and authenticity of the moment. Instead of elaborate props and artificial poses, I focus more on your baby how they are. From delicate fingers to tiny yawns, every nuance is skillfully documented.

This style goes beyond individual shots; it's about telling a story. I capture the emotional connections between family members, creating a narrative that unfolds through each image. From the gaze between siblings to the tender moments shared by parents, these photographs become cherished memories.

Newborn Photography FAQs

I often get questions about this style of photography. Here are a few of the top things I get asked about my style of newborn photography.

When do I book my session?

We book on your due date and move it from there depending on when you give birth and how you are feeling.

Is there an ideal time to do my session?

I do not pose or prop babies so I do not need to do it within the 14 day window. It really comes down to what stage of your babies life you want to photograph and how you are feeling.

My home is really cluttered/stark/poorly decorated/dark etc. Will it still work?

I think it depends on your expectation. If your home is very dark and you want bright, airy, light filled images then you probably should shoot in the studio. If your home is dark but you want to only use natural light then that may not work either.

If you are flexible then anything works. I move furniture, hide objects and give you instructions before hand to prep your house to make it work. I have take photos in massive homes (which incidentally don't tend to be very well lit in most cases) to smaller condos. Can you tell by my portfolio which ones are designer decorated and which are barely moved in? I'm not sure. For me it is more about the connection and emotion in the photos.

We need help with wardrobe!

No problem. I know it's hard to find newborn size clothing that is also cute so I have a wardrobe on hand you can borrow. For the parents, all my sessions include wardrobe consulting with a local stylist.

Are you ready to book? Please contact me and we will get the process rolling. It's never too late to photograph your precious baby.
